Having watched his side outclassed for much of this Semple Stadium affair, Considine wasn’t in the mood to apportion blame.

Admitted Considine: “I’m not making any excuses for our defeat but we simply never got out of the blocks. We never played in the first half, improved a bit in the second but on the day Cork were far superior. Cork deserved their victory.”
