Resounding win for Donegal as Leitrim and Sligo share spoils
Donegal led 2-5 to 0-4 at the break in Clontibret before adding three more goals in the second half.
Leitrim and Sligo played out a draw in Ballinamore on Sunday.
The home side were leading 2-3 to 2-1 when Galway referee Alan Kelly temporarily halted play due to a hailstorm.
After the restart Sligo clawed back the deficit to secure a share of the spoils earn a draw.
With two games played, Roscommon still have a 100% record in Division 3B of the National Hurling League, after narrowly defeating Tyrone by 2-8 to 1-10 in Omagh on Sunday.
Tyrone remain top of the table with a much better score difference than the Rossies, however.
Cavan’s ability to score goals earned them a point in a high-scoring all-Ulster clash at Kingspan Breffni Park.
The hosts netted four times in a 4-4 to 2-10 draw.
Despite the Ernesiders’ ability to score, their defending let them down and allowed Cavan grab a share of the spoils.
