Team character overcame pressure to help Cork win title, says coach Ryan

Team character overcame pressure to help Cork win title, says coach Ryan

And he highlighted the character in the side as the reason they overcame Armagh to land their second consecutive All-Ireland senior crown.

Said Ryan: “It’s something that it is intrinsically in the team rather than something we put in. As a group they have great character. If you were to analyse Sunday’s game there was nothing we (the management) did in the second-half to beat Armagh. It was the players who won it. They kicked a lot of wides but they kept going. And they got their reward.”
