O’Sullivan proves doubters wrong as Kerry ‘gamble’ pays off
As late as yesterday morning, there were newspaper articles appearing on the streets warning that the Kerry squad was one divided against itself by the management’s decision to pick the Dromid man and drop Eoin Brosnan.
Kerry already had two points on the board by the time O’Sullivan added the finishing flourish to a move that ripped Mayo open but that goal was the launch pad for the stratospheric heights the champions would reach.
