THE best known GAA follower in the land is planning a divine return to the terraces of Croke Park for the All-Ireland hurling final after a brush with death.

Frank Hogan, better known as ‘John 3:7’ for his one-man biblical crusade at GAA venues around the country, has been sidelined for nearly a year after a near fatal heart attack.

Speaking from his home in Castletroy, Limerick, yesterday, Frank, 68, said: “I have made good progress and I am getting stronger by the day. I hope to be able to make it to the hurling final with my John 3:7 banner.”
