GALWAY Football Board has postponed the weekend’s senior football championship programme as the Tribesmen prepare for Saturday week’s All-Ireland qualifier with Westmeath.

Favourites Corofin were due to play All-Ireland club Champions Salthill-Knocknacarra but all eight championship matches will now take place at a later date.

A full round of Senior League matches will be played this weekend, while three Intermediate Championship encounters have been scheduled for Sunday.
