Brogan's in final after classy display

Though Denis Roche gave Colaiste Treasa an early lead with a point from a close-in free, a physically stronger St Brogan's side, with David Lynch and Ronan McCarthy on top at midfield, swiftly took control.

Impressive full forward Danny O'Callaghan hit the equaliser and was then denied two goals, by first the post and then by 'keeper Kevin Roche.

Wing forward John Moynihan kicked the rebound wide as St Brogan's had little to show for their first quarter efforts. Moynihan and Ronan McCarthy, landed some superb points and steered St. Brogan's into an interval lead of 0-8 to 0-3.

Colaiste Treasa started brightly with efforts from Roche and midfielder Aidan Walsh. But a goal from midfielder David Lynch in the 42nd minute.
