Though Denis Roche gave Colaiste Treasa an early lead with a point from a close-in free, a physically stronger St Brogan's side, with David Lynch and Ronan McCarthy on top at midfield, swiftly took control.

Impressive full forward Danny O'Callaghan hit the equaliser and was then denied two goals, by first the post and then by 'keeper Kevin Roche.
