Self belief key to win: Hannon

IF you consider the commitment given by Justin McCarthy and Colm Bonnar to the Waterford hurling team, it’s easy to appreciate the passionate approach of former star Seamie Hannon.

And he jokes that he’s a ‘kind of a border line case himself’, living as he does on the Cork border.

He played in the old Croke Park in the league, but like countless numbers of Waterford hurlers over the last four decades, was denied the ultimate honour of taking part in an All-Ireland series.
