English: hurling needs national strategy
The prospect of another Kilkenny and Cork All-Ireland final is undoubtedly one to look forward to but the return of the traditional powers to hurling’s top table is a cause of concern for those trying to develop the game in so many other counties.
“Hurling needs a central authority that can implement a national strategy and that can review that strategy as it goes on and make changes where necessary,” said the former Tipperary Allstar and All-Ireland winning manager yesterday.
