MICKEY HARTE remains deeply unhappy about his team not having an extra week to prepare for their All-Ireland semi-final game with Armagh.

Even though the GAA have ruled out a deferment of the fixture, the Tyrone manager still maintains that some way out should be found to accommodate them - after draws in the Ulster final and the All-Ireland quarter-final.

“It’s difficult to prepare in a short time for a very important game,’’ he said. “It’s difficult to prepare for any game of this standing in a short time. The qualifier system was changed because of that, when all the provincial finalists were getting beaten a week later. Then, the powers that be decided it was not good enough, that these teams needed more time. They got a fortnight, and every one of them came through to be in the last eight.
