Coach Larry Tompkins was philosophical to the extent that his team has a second chance, but readily admitted to being at a loss to explain what had happened.

"We have a lot of good players. I would say that nobody probably played up to standard there today. That's the way it goes. We're just lucky that we have another chance," he said.
