“Una is a great role model for the young people of Tipperary” said Association President Michael Fenton.

“In honouring Una, we are also playing tribute to that amazing team that has contested every All Ireland final in the last six years, winning five.”

Michael Babs Keating who represented Tipp in hurling and football and managed them to a 1989 All-Ireland SHC title, won the Hall of Fame Award.

“Babs was and remains a man of many talents, a figure who is larger than life and no short commentary like this can do justice to his achievements and contribution to Tipperary,” said Fenton.

The Dinner and Awards Ceremony takes place in Morans Red Cow Hotel on April 22.
