Sheehan takes over the left-half forward position from Eoin Brosnan, while Copper, introduced as a substitute in last weekend’s draw with Dublin and kicking the equaliser which ensured knockout qualification for the Kingdom, starts at right-corner forward, with team captain Declan O’Sullivan moving to full forward and Ronan O’Connor taking over the left-corner forward duties from Michael Frank Russell.
Chris Conway (torn ligaments) and Aidan Fennelly (hamstring) have been ruled out of the Laois side, but manager Mick O’Dwyer will not reveal his hand until just before the start.
