Limerick-Tipp tie at Thurles

THE NHL tie between Limerick and Tipperary will be played at Semple Stadium, Thurles on Saturday March 8, officials confirmed yesterday.

There had been fears that because of reconstruction work at the old stand side of the ground that the match might be moved to a new venue. Limerick had earlier conceded home advantage because the Gaelic Grounds is undergoing a 12m facelift.

Admission to Thurles will be confined to the new stand and the terraces behind the goalmouths.
