It’s one-way traffic as stylish Coláiste Chríost Rí trounce Limerick CBS
Defeated in their opening two games in the round robin series Chriost Ri never allowed their hapless opponents a look in.
It was all one-way traffic in the first half when Chriost Ri, spurred on by a fine 10th minute goal from right corner-forward Shane Nott, really turned on the style.
Some splendid points from Nott, who scored two, and full forward Paudie O’Shea, three, powered Chriost Ri into a 1-7 half time lead with Limerick still striving to break their duck.
Chriost Ri increased their lead to 1-9 after the resumption before Limerick finally got a point from a free from Gordon Leonard in the 42nd minute. Limerick pounced seconds later when substitute Andy O’Dea got a goal.
But Chriost quickly repulsed Limerick’s brief rally.
