Ó Sé faces wrath of Kingdom for remarks

PAIDÍ Ó SÉ’S position as Kerry coach is under threat after Kingdom GAA chiefs last night dissociated themselves from Ó Sé’s comments about Kerry people and his expanded role as manager this season.

The board executive took the unprecedented step of distancing itself from the remarks made by the multiple All Ireland winner in a weekend interview when he described Kerry supporters as “the roughest type of f...ing animals you could ever deal with.”

Ó Sé also angered his fellow selectors, three of whom are on holidays with Ó Sé and the team in South Africa. The other selector, trainer John O’Keeffe, remained at home and is understood to be very disappointed with the comments.
