GPA deny latest deal is on the rocks

GAELIC Players Association chiefs have denied their latest high profile commercial deal is on the rocks following the postponement of yesterday’s press conference to announce the initiative.

The GPA pulled off a coup recently when they announced a lucrative link up with drinks giants C&C, though the latest deal was not believed to be as lucrative.

However, GPA Chief Executive Dessie Farrell said it would similarly benefit their 1,200 members and that it would be another effective linkup with a commercial entity.
