Aisake crashes back to earth

AISAKE Ó hAILPÍN suffered bruising to both body and ego on a pre-season training camp with AFL club Carlton Blues.

Ó hAilpín, who joined brother Setanta in Melbourne last month, sustained cuts and bruising when he fell off a bicycle yesterday as squad members undertook a mountain biking trek at the Mount Buller resort.

“Our Irish rookie took a tumble off his bike, going downhill, and finished up with plenty of skin missing and a sore head,” team mate Scott Camporeale told carltonfc.com.au ” Thankfully he was okay and was driven back to the Mt Buller Chalet for a rest. No doubt we will remind him about this during the next few months.”
