Bonnar must wait and see

TIPPERARY hurling selector Colm Bonnar will sit out Sunday's NHL clash with Clare as he awaits the outcome of his appeal to the GAC against an eight week touchline ban.

Bonnar received the punishment from the Higher Education Authority for comments allegedly made to a linesman during last month's Fitzgibbon Cup final.

The respected mentor was in charge of the WIT team that took on UCC at Athlone IT and protests his innocence.
