Páidí: Forget style, it’s all about winning

KERRY boss Páidí Ó Sé dismissed fears last night that key midfielder Darragh Ó Sé is struggling to be fit for Monday’s All-Ireland quarter final against Roscommon.

Páidí: Forget style, it’s all about winning

Ó Sé's nephew missed the Munster final victory over Limerick with an ankle injury, and has been making slow progress in the build up to the weekend's Croke Park clash against Tommy Carr's qualifiers. Though he has been back training since the provincial decider, Ó Sé will only resume full kicking and contact this week. But Ó Sé insisted: "I fully expect we'll be naming Darragh in the team for Roscommon."

The coach also underlined the Kingdom's determination to atone for last year's final disappointment against Armagh: "I've been quite happy with the way we've been playing so far this season. I have to say, I'm not too worried at this stage about the quality of football we are playing. It's all about winning, isn't it."
