This is the second time the award, now in its third year, goes north as Derry City club Seán Dolan’s were the inaugural winners in 2000.
In addition to the overall award of €10,000, St Malachy’s also won their county award of €2,000 and the Ulster provincial award of €5,000, bringing their total prize money to €17,000.
