Referee’s report HQ bound

REFEREE Cormac O’Reilly has sent a detailed report on Sunday’s ill-tempered NFL clash between Kerry and Monaghan to Croke Park.

O’Reilly was visibly upset at the end of the game but, according to referee’s spokesman Fr Seamus Gardiner, has dispatched his report on the ill-tempered ending of the game to GAA headquarters.

However, Fr Gardiner was not at liberty to say what was contained in that communication.
