Cody to have a long, hard think

BRIAN CODY will decide in a few weeks if he will remain and attempt to inspire Kilkenny to a third consecutive Guinness All-Ireland hurling title.

Cody to have a long, hard think

"It's like having a hurling career all over again. I love it right now. But, I'll still think long and hard about whether I will go (ahead) next year because at the end of the day the team has to be brought further, if at all possible, to keep hurling in Kilkenny serious," he commented.

"I knew that in '99 and I said it the night of the final that I was going [to stay on] again after losing to Cork. It's a major job. Okay, the team has achieved a lot over the last few years, but it's going to take an inhuman effort to go further and win more.
