Murphy to get Wexford job

SEAMUS Murphy is favourite to be installed as Wexford senior hurling manager today.

Murphy, a club mate of former boss John Conran, guided Rathnure to back-to-back county titles and steered the county U-21s to provincial success in 2001 and ’02.

County secretary Michael Kinsella is expected to join his backroom team.
