An injury time point by senior player Donal Brennan earned Laois a draw after 60 minutes of a marvellous contest. Then, as the sides prepared for extra time, a massive row erupted.

Cork midfielder Andrew O'Sullivan had two teeth knocked out while their team doctor sustained a nasty gash on the head.
