Cork hurlers get early shot at revenge over Decies

ALL-IRELAND hurling champions Cork have been given an early chance of revenge against the one side to defeat them last season.

Waterford and Cork will meet in the Munster SHC semi-final next year, presumably in Thurles, offering the Rebels a chance to dethrone Justin McCarthy’s provincial kingpins.

“One thing out of the draw is that we wouldn’t be favourites,” said McCarthy last night. “They are the All-Ireland champions and it will make for a super game.”
