McEneaney puts hope in Woods appeal

MONAGHAN manager Seamus McEneaney is still hoping that today’s appeal against the 12-week suspension handed to Rory Woods will be upheld.

McEneaney is very keen to have his ace forward available for the Championship opener with Derry on Sunday week now that injuries have hit his squad.

“We have a few niggly problems and obviously we are hopeful that they will clear up,” McEneaney said.
