Laois unlikely to halt Armagh advance

The man's enthusiasm for the game is infectious and it's a tribute to his unique management style that it transfers so effectively to his players. However he may need a few more tricks if Laois are to overcome Armagh in this afternoon's SFC quarter-final in Croke Park.

It's a fascinating encounter, not least because while Laois are a smaller team physically, they have the football to end Armagh's ambitions. Armagh are competing as Ulster champions for the fifth time in seven years, giving Kieran McGeeney the unique record of being the only captain to lift the Anglo-Celt cup four times.
