Thurles championship games to be televised live

THE two big games in next weekend’s Guinness Munster SHC programme at Semple Stadium, Thurles, will be televised live.

The Waterford v Limerick replay on Saturday will be shown at 6.15, while the Cork v Clare showdown on Sunday will be transmitted at 4.15.

The announcement came yesterday following a meeting between fire safety officers and the stadium’s consulting engineers.
