INTER-COUNTY managers in Gaelic football and hurling have used recent briefings on the experimental rules to tell Croke Park about other problems they are having.

The briefings were held to inform managers on the rules, but the debates broadened to include issues like sideline incursions, according to Croke Park official Pat Daly.

“Managers talked about trying to get messages out to players on the pitch during matches, as well as fines for sideline incursions,” said Daly.
