CROKE PARK chiefs insisted yesterday they are determined to get to the bottom of the off-the-ball incident in which Clare hurler Gerry Quinn sustained an horrific hand injury in the All-Ireland hurling semi-final.

Quinn appeared before this week’s meeting of Croke Park’s games administration committee.

The Disciplinary Committee also heard submissions from the chairman and secretary of the Clare County Board, Fr. Michael McNamara and Pat Fitzgerald, and the chairman and secretary of the Waterford County Board, Pat Joe Ryan and Seamus Grant.
