And then there were three in the Munster Senior Hurling Championship but what two counties will be remaining by Sunday night?

Cork, Limerick and Clare are all assured of progress to the All-Ireland series with Waterford and Tipperary crashing out, but who will compete in the provincial final?

The Rebels are in the driving seat given they have won all three games to date and another win, or even a draw, or even a narrow loss, will seal their place back in the showpiece occasion.

They face Clare, who will need to win by four or more points to jump above them while Limerick know a victory, or a draw, against Tipperary will secure their return to the decider for the eighth year in a row.

A draw could be enough for the Banner to progress, but only if the Treaty are beaten by last year’s All-Ireland champions.
