The RDS has announced leading global financial business as the new title partner of the Dublin Horse Show for the next three years.
The Dublin Horse Show takes place from August 5 to August 9 at the Dublin venue.
The partnership "marks a significant commitment from Gallagher to one of the most prestigious fixtures on the international show jumping calendar, and will further strengthen the global reputation of the Dublin Horse Show as a cornerstone of Irish sporting and cultural life".
Renowned for its heritage and world-class competition, the Dublin Horse Show is defined by the precision, athleticism and unique partnership between horse and rider and remains one of the few global sports where men and women compete equally at the highest level.
Since launching in Ireland in 2022, has expanded significantly and now operates from 12 locations and oversees the insurance needs of over 300,000 Irish businesses and consumers.
Originally from Limerick, the Gallagher family now employ over 71,000 people worldwide, under the leadership of CEO and chairman, Pat Gallagher, grandson of the original founder.
This August, the 151st Dublin Horse Show will welcome over 100,000 visitors to the RDS, combining sport, style and socialising in the heart of Dublin city.
The new title sponsorship announcement comes in a landmark year, celebrating the 100th year of the Nations Cup, where teams compete for the Aga Khan Trophy, one of the most iconic and anticipated competitions in global show jumping.
Paul Kelly, RDS CEO, said: “We are delighted to welcome Gallagher as title partner of our fantastic event, the Gallagher Dublin Horse Show.
"This partnership reflects a strong alignment of values—heritage, excellence, and a shared commitment to supporting the equestrian traditions that are so integral to communities and culture throughout Ireland.
"This partnership with Gallagher, a global leader in insurance broking and risk management, and well known for supporting tier one sports, is a clear endorsement of the Show’s international reputation and gives us an opportunity to work together to continue to evolve and improve for the future.”
Derek Henry, CEO, Gallagher in Ireland, added: “We are absolutely thrilled to become title partner of the Gallagher Dublin Horse Show, one of the most prestigious events in international show jumping and a can’t miss date in the diary for horse fans across Ireland.
"Its unique blend of world-class sport, heritage, and atmosphere makes it a compelling event for our growing business to be involved in.
"This agreement marks an important step for Gallagher by investing in the Irish economy and community events that make a difference to our clients and colleagues. This is a long-term agreement and a strong endorsement of the RDS’s ambition.”
