Cadbury Ireland have announced a three year contract extension with the Football Association of Ireland to extend their support of women's football and the Republic of Ireland Women's National Team.
The contract extension will see the Cadbury Become A Supporter And A Half campaign continue to encourage participation, engagement and visibility in the women's game from grassroots to international level.
The partnership began in October 2021 and Cadbury has directly supported over 50 grassroots clubs with training and facilities including training sessions with team captain Katie McCabe and members of the WNT, coaching sessions with FAI officials, direct financial support to clubs including its Grounds for Change campaign that gave equipment and upgraded pitches to three clubs in Donegal, Dublin and Cork as well as nationwide marketing campaigns and many more prizes to help clubs drive women's football.
Connecting Cadbury supporters with the WNT in a real way is how Cadbury brings the partnership to life and the next three years will see the continuation of that through acts of generosity synonymous with the brand.
Managing Director of Mondelez Ireland, Eoin Kellett said Cadburys are committed to the growth of Women's football in Ireladn “At Cadbury, we are committed to supporting women’s football from grassroots to international level so are delighted to be renewing our partnership with the FAI today.
