WATCH: Olympic legend Michael Phelps had great craic with Jimmy Fallon

Fresh from bringing his total Olympic medal haul to 28, US swimming legend Michael Phelps made an entertaining appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Naturally Fallon took the opportunity to bring up the infamous picture of the five-time Olympian looking VERY angry in Rio.

Phelps was happy to laugh at himself over the viral image, but maintained a diplomatic silence when Fallon brought up the controversy surrounding his team-mate Ryan Lochte.

Now 31, Phelps also discussed his retirement plans and needing to find more time to focus on his son Boomer’s social media presence.
