CAS to hear Norden triathlon appeal

Sweden have appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport for Lisa Norden to be awarded a gold medal and a share of first place in the women’s triathlon race at the Olympics.

Norden crossed the line at the same time as Switzerland’s Nicola Spirig in last Saturday’s race, but the International Triathlon Union (ITU) said the photo-finish put her in silver position.
