Haye wait goes on for German police

German detectives must sit and wait for up to a fortnight as their pursuit of David Haye is held up by red tape following Saturday’s brawl in Munich.

Haye yesterday flew off to “warmer climates” in good spirits despite the fact he could face up to five years in a German prison if found guilty of “dangerous assault” during the chaotic clash with Dereck Chisora, who could in theory be jailed for two years himself.
