Kubica to stay in ICU

Formula One driver Robert Kubica is to remain in intensive care for another two days following a nine-hour surgical procedure over the weekend.

The Pole had been due to be transferred to the accident and emergency department of the Santa Corona hospital in Pietra Ligure but will instead remain in the ICU ahead of what is anticipated to be his final surgical procedure on Wednesday.
