Formula One driver Robert Kubica has taken “important steps forward” in his recovery from the serious injuries he suffered in a rally accident yesterday morning.

Formula One driver Robert Kubica spent last night in an induced coma and is facing a year out of the sport after suffering horrific injuries in a high-speed rallying accident in Italy yesterday.

Robert Kubica’s agent believes the Polish Formula One driver will make a full recovery from serious injuries suffered in a crash in the Ronde di Andora Rally today.
