Swiss Dario Cologna took the gold in the men’s 15km free cross country skiing competition at Whistler Olympic Park in a time of 33 minutes 36.3 seconds.

Ireland's Peter James Barron came in 91st place in a time of 43 minutes 50.4 seconds, more than 10 minutes off the lead.
