Pacquiao clash confirmed in Dallas

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones last night welcomed the opportunity to host world championship boxing at the new Cowboys Stadium after Manny Pacquiao and Joshua Clottey’s welterweight clash was confirmed for March 13 in Texas.

In the wake of the collapse of the proposed Pacquiao megafight with Floyd Mayweather Jr on the same date, the Filipino (50-3-2, 38 KOs) pound-for-pound king has opted to defend his WBO title against Clottey (35-3, 21 KOs) of Ghana.
