Chelsea have confirmed they are to fight FIFA’s ban on new signings by launching “the strongest possible appeal”.

FIFA banned Chelsea from registering any new players for the next two transfer windows after the Blues were found guilty of inducing 18-year-old Gael Kakuta to breach his contract with Lens.
