Munroe interested in shot at Dunne’s title

Rendall Munroe has become the latest name to put himself forward for a challenge at Bernard Dunne's WBA super-bantamweight title.

The European champion's promoter, Frank Maloney, is believed to have offered Dunne a six-figure sum to put his world title on the line in a Dublin-staged bout.

Dunne won the title by beating Ricardo Cordoba last weekend.
