Irish squad named for Cricket World Cup qualifiers
Ireland coach Phil Simmons has named an 18-man squad for the World Cup qualifiers in South Africa in April.
All 15 players who won the Intercontinental Cup against Namibia in South Africa last month have been selected.
They are joined by Eoin Morgan, who missed that trip due to injury, and Middlesex commitments 18-year-old Paul Stirling and Reinhardt Strydom.
Only four teams from 12 will qualify for the 2011 Cricket World Cup and Ireland have been grouped with Scotland, Canada, Namibia, Oman and the second-placed team from World Division 3.
