Chambers launches legal battle over lifetime ban

Lawyers representing Dwain Chambers are to mount a legal challenge in the High Court to his lifetime suspension for using banned steroids to enable him to compete in the Beijing Olympics.

After taking a vital step towards his ambition to compete in the Games by twice clocking 100 metres ’A’ qualifier in Biberac an der Reiss, Germany, Chambers is not prepared to say when he expects the legal battle to get under way.
