Three Golds for Olympic-qualified Irish boxers

Newly-qualified Irish 2008 Olympians, Ken Egan, Darren Sutherland and John Joe Joyce completed an incredible week for Irish amateur boxing after claiming three gold medals in Greece yesterday afternoon.

Irish captain Egan, Sutherland and Joyce qualified automatically for the 2008 Olympics courtesy of their semi-final wins at the final Olympic qualifier for European boxers Athens.
