Golf: McDowell well placed at Hong Kong Open

Graeme McDowell has finished the second round of the Hong Kong open as best of the Irish - a second round of 66 leaves him five adrift on seven-under.

Robert Karlsson heads the field - the Swede 12-under and four strokes clear.

Damian McGrane's 66 leaves him on five-under - seven shots adrift while Gary Murphy finished on four-under.

Dubliner Paul Mcginley is also in the clubhouse and a day two 70 leaves him on two-under.

McDowell is content with his days work.
