Irish amateur Barnes through to last 32 in Chicago

Ireland's Paddy Barnes is through to the last 32 at the World Amateur Boxing Championships in Chicago.

Barnes beat Choi Jon Chuk of North Korea by 33 points to 19 last night.

Conor Ahern, however, is out of the championships after a points defeat to Bato Vankeyeu of Belarus.
