Franchitti escapes horror crash

Scot Dario Franchitti amazingly escaped unhurt from a horrifying crash during the IndyCar Series race at Michigan International Speedway.

Franchitti was sent hurtling through the air and landed upside down on Scott Dixon’s car. The Indianapolis 500 winner initially made contact with fellow Briton Dan Wheldon in the seven-car pile-up.
