Duddy puts unbeaten record but not belt on line tonight

John Duddy puts his unbeaten record, but not his IBA middleweight belt, on the line tonight when he takes on Alessio Furlan at the National Stadium.

It is Duddy's first ever professional fight in Ireland, but he can't believe the reception he's getting.

He said: "With the attention I’ve got in New York, I’ve tried to take it with a pinch of salt and now to come home and see people that I know and that - and seeing reporters and people that I used to see on TV, they’re talking to me now so I know I must be doing something right but at the end of the day, I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for the success I’ve had in the ring.’
